Pittsburg Pirate Football Players Going Far!
Five PHS Football players have been offered to play for various Division 1 institutions.
These five talented senior s, were honored on Wednesday February 3rd as Pittsburg High School held a National Signing Day in the Creative Arts Building Little Theater.
Family, friends, teachers, staff and coaches filled the Little Theater as they showed support and admiration for their proud Pirates.
These five senior football players were selected for their outstanding talent on the field but also for their academic achievement, keeping a GPA above 3.0.
Senior Erick Dargan signed his intent to enroll and play for Oregon State University.
Senior Tracy Clark signed his intent to enroll and play for Washington State University.
Senior Jeremy Wiles received many offers but still remains undecided, as he received many offers.
Senior Breon Butler signed his intent to enroll and play for the University of North Dakota
Senior Robert Jiles signed his intent to enroll and play for Washington State University.
Pirate supporters, and the entire Pittsburg community as a whole, are extremely proud of our talented young men.
Congratulations Pirates, we know you will do great!
